Communities of practice are as ancient as humankind, yet they represent a model of learning that is aligned with the global challenges and the new geographies of connectivity in the 21st century. This is particularly true of government agencies that have to provide complex services to a diverse population that includes marginalized communities. Together we will explore how fostering communities of practice can provide viable resources and support for implementing and sustaining equity efforts over time.
