Joining the Waitlist
How do I join the waitlist?
Step 1: Begin waitlist process by entering your work email address and selecting your account type.
Step 2: You will be asked to insert account details and demographic information.
Step 3: Waitlist Selection. Choose your desired session(s) from the listed offerings.
- Signing up for a waitlist does not guarantee registration into the workshop. Session capacity varies and waitlist status changes as space allows.
- 1 week before the start of the session, space allowing, we admit registrants from the waitlist.
- You may select any and as many sessions as you would like.
- Once you create an account, you will be able to return at any time to add or modify your workshop selection.
- You will receive a confirmation email for each individual workshop. It is important to check your waitlist status periodically.
Step 4: Upon joining the waitlist, you will receive confirmation via email that your credentials have been saved and that you have successfully joined the waitlist. To check your waitlist status, visit the waitlist status page. Waitlist status will update automatically as you get moved.
Please note that courses have attendance capacities. Courses may fill up and it is important to sign up ahead of time. It is also important to modify your registration or notify support@reibinitiative.com if you can no longer attend a session you have moved off of the waitlist for.
The Waitlist Status Page
View all the key information on the Waitlist Status Page by navigating between four (4) different tabs:
1. The “Waitlist Status" tab displays your current status in the process. "Check back soon" will appear if you have not moved off of the waitlist. If you have moved off of the waitlist, the status will change to "You're off the waitlist!" Directions on how to join a workshop will appear once your status changes.
2. The “Your Waitlisted Workshops" tab displays each workshop waitlist you join, the date & time of the workshop, and the option to add the workshop to your calendar. Feel free to use these features at your convenience.
- To change or cancel your waitlist submission, you can modify your submission on this tab or contact support@reibinitiative.com.
3. The "Waitlist Process" tab outlines the waitlist process for you so that you know what next steps to expect.
4. The “Account Settings" tab allows you make any changes to your waitlist submission and submit any specific requests you have to make workshops accessible to you. You may also contact support@reibinitiative.com with your request.
Attending a Workshop
Once have joined a workshop waitlist, there are two ways to be notified:
- Confirmation email from support@REIBInitiative.com
- Return to View Your Waitlist Status and see if you've been 'approved.'
Guests on the waitlist will start to be notified if they have been approved to be added to the workshop starting one (1) week before the start of the workshop, up until the day before it starts.
FAQ
REIB was developed for CalWORKs and CalFresh county welfare department employees across all 58 counties in California - and now organizations affiliated with CalWORKs and/or CalFresh are welcome to participate in the virtual workshops, space allowing.*
*If you are a county employee, there is no need to join the waitlist. Directly sign up for workshops on the REIB Initiative Hub.

Of course! Add the workshops that interest you and when you are available to attend. Please be considerate of others and do not add workshops you cannot attend, and take the space that could go to someone else.
