Michelle Goodman (she/her) has been with CDSS since 2019 and currently serves as a Staff Services Manager within the CalWORKs Program Innovation and Evaluation Bureau in the Family Engagement and Empowerment Division. Michelle supports the Racial Equity and Implicit Bias (REIB) statewide initiative, as well as the CalWORKs Outcomes and Accountability Review (Cal-OAR) implementation across all 58 counties in California. She is passionate about being a part of a team that is striving to shift a work culture where diversity, equity, and inclusion is the culture norm. Prior to joining CDSS, Michelle worked for Fresno County Health Department for twenty years as a regulatory enforcement agent in a variety of program to ensure the Health and Safety of the public. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fresno and a MA in Psychology, with emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Los Angeles Pacific University.
