Workshop for CalWORKs & CalFresh All Staff
- 4 hour session
- Capacity: 20 participants
We all carry heavy bags - and for good reason. Triggering moments hit hard and test our emotional fortitude, especially in workplace settings where historical and present-day traumas caused by systems of oppression cannot simply be checked at the curb. This workshop provides a comprehensive approach to understanding and navigating these challenges, combining practical tools for emotional resilience with deeper exploration of systemic trauma.
Through open discussions and reflective activities, participants will gain insights into fostering a workplace that acknowledges and actively works to mitigate the effects of systemic traumas. The workshop provides tools and methods for moving through trigger responses while building practical skills for personal and organizational transformation. Join us to learn how to create meaningful change in your workplace while supporting your own emotional well-being and that of your colleagues.
