Attend a Session
1. Account Set-up
If it’s your first time visiting the REIB Initiative Hub, create an account here.
- You will only be able to create an account using a county email address. If you are not a county employee, please feel free to visit our public offerings.
- Some REIB sessions are made available to you based on the region and position you list in your account. If you are not seeing sessions that may be available to you, please revisit your profile details and ensure all information is input correctly.
2. Session Registration
Note: Session Registration via the REIB Initiative Hub may not be available in your county. If you receive an "Action Required" notification on the REIB registration page, please inform the indicated county point of contact of your session registration request. Once your county point of contact approves your request for registration, you will receive email reminders from support@reibinitiative.com that you have been added to the future session.
Once you create an account, continue to the REIB Initiative Hub to view the course listings.
The “Register for Upcoming Sessions" tab displays all sessions available for you to attend. Click on "show more" to view session date and time options.
- Please note that courses have attendance capacities. Courses may fill up and it is important to sign up ahead of time.
- If you are unable to attend a session, please be sure to remove it by clicking "remove session" on the "Register for Upcoming Sessions" tab or contact support@reibinitiative.com.
Click on the "Add Session" button to add a session.
Once you add a session, you will be able to view it in the “Your Registered Sessions” tab on your the REIB Initiative Hub by refreshing the page.
- The “Your Registered Sessions” tab will display each session you sign up for, the session description, the link to the virtual session or location address, and the option to add the session to your personal calendar. Feel free to use these features at your convenience.
- You will also get automated session reminders and details via email.
- You can always return to your account using the credentials you created in step 1 to add, modify or cancel your registered sessions.
3. Attend a Session
Please note that courses have attendance capacities. Courses may fill up and it is important to sign up ahead of time. It is also important to un-register for a session or notify support@reibinitiative.com if you can no longer attend a session you have signed up for.
Once you’ve registered for your sessions, there are several ways to view location information:
- From the REIB Initiative Hub, visit the "Your Registered Sessions" tab to view session location and details.
- You will also receive session reminder emails that include the virtual link or session location information.
Attending by computer
- Sign in to your REIB Initiative Hub account.
- Go to the “Your Registered Sessions” tab and click the Virtual Session Link for your desired session.
- Once you click on the link, you will be redirected to the waiting room page that features a countdown timer for your session. At the session start time, this page will automatically take you into the session’s virtual Zoom location.
- You may be prompted to open Zoom, please click “Allow” so that the Zoom app will load.
- If you do not have Zoom downloaded onto your computer, please visit https://zoom.us/download for assistance and download instructions.
Attending by mobile or tablet device (via Zoom app)
To join a session on a mobile device or tablet, you must first download the Zoom app on your device. Please visit https://zoom.us/download to download zoom. Once downloaded:
- Visit the REIB Initiative Hub and sign into your account using the credentials you created in step 1.
- Go to the “Your Registered Sessions” tab and click the Virtual Session Link for your desired session.
- Once you tap the link, you will be redirected to the waiting room page that features a countdown timer for your session. At the session start time, this page will automatically take you into the session’s virtual Zoom meeting.
- You may be prompted to open Zoom, please click “Allow” so that the Zoom app will load.
Attending by phone (dialing-in Zoom)
If you need to dial-in to a meeting, please contact support@reibinitiative.com 24 hours before the session. We will provide you with the dial-in phone number and address any other details you may need.
Attending an in-person session
The in-person meeting location will be listed on the session details in the "Your Registered Sessions" tab and also sent via email. If you have any specific questions on how to get to the location or parking, please contact support@reibinitiative.com for assistance.
